Mountains, hills, rocks, trails (or not) – you’re off in your 4X4 or ATV, and
you’re ready for adventure. You love the challenge of getting up that hill, of
testing yourself and your vehicle against nature.
Trimble Outdoors can help make your off-road adventure even better.
While you’re not going to use Trimble Outdoors for navigation while you’re
driving, you can check your location at specific points in your ride (like
while you’re being winched up). Using Trimble Adventure Planner, you can plan
your trip with all the important navigation points marked, using aerial,
topographic or street maps to perfectly plan your route. Topographic and aerial
maps of your off-roading area combine to let you evaluate the how aggressive
your selected route may be.
Once planned, you can download your trip to your phone*. With Trimble
Outdoors, you have everything you need in one light-weight device: cell phone,
GPS receiver with complete GPS navigation capabilities, camera**, and
walkie-talkie*.
Using Trimble Outdoors is the easiest way to plan your trip and share the route
with loved ones, navigate en route, and then share your adventure when you’re
home again.
Maybe you already have a GPS receiver. You can still use Adventure Planner to
plan your entire trip, then download it to your existing GPS receiver. You’ll
still be able to share your trip once you get back with your friends and family
using the Trimble Outdoors website.
Regardless of your level of experience, Trimble Outdoors can help you get more
out of your off-road adventures. It will allow you to research, plan,
experience and share all your off-road adventures across the United States.
Of course, as a member of the Trimble Outdoors community, you can search for
other member’s off-road adventures, as well as share your own.
