Adventure Planner

I have the latest version and this software can not do anything. It keeps giving me unhandled exception errors. Am I the only one finding this app buggy? I like everything Trimble has, I have all three apps on my phone and I love them.

You need to be sure that you have the .NET Framework version 1.1 installed on your computer. Our installer doesn't check for it, and that version doesn't come with Windows XP or later.

We haven't released an update to that software in quite some time. Just about everything you can do in Adventure Planner you can do with the Online Map Editor. Feel free to check out some of the tutorial videos. (There has also been a few new features added that aren't in the videos, but they are mentioned in the documentation part.)

Hopefully installing the .NET Framework 1.1 will fix your problem. If not, let us know what operating system you're using and we'll try to help out more.

Is there any feature of Adventure Planner that you like more over the Online Map Editor?

Thanks for the interest in our products and support.

That fixed it. I like the idea of being able to create it on my laptop then uploading it. It seems to work faster. When I create an adventure for Trimble Outdoors either online or with this app, I notice my routes I create are not available on the phone app. Is that something that is being fixed or am I doing something wrong?
