_TeamBison Posts: 49	HELP - I'm not getting an elevation profile Posted: 10 Nov 09 5:20 AM I believe that the elevation profiles are generated in the background, but, I created a route about 12 hours ago and it still has no profile. I've never known it to take this long. I am working on a route for a significant ride this weekend and I REALLY want to be able to provide the elevation profile for the riders. Please tell me that it's going to happen soon. Thanks. ---- update: Looks like my bad. I went in to the Advanced options on the Edit Info page and found that the Elevation option was set to GPS and I changed it to Survey and now I'm getting the profile. And I thought there was a problem with the chart generator. So you can probably guess what I'm going to do. For trips created directly on the web, we'll default it to use Survey elevation. So now, all trips except those uploaded directly from a Garmin device using the Garmin import page, will default to survey elevation. Also, just so you know, we have local copies of survey elevation for just about the entire world. Every time you save a trip, the survey elevation is instantly saved along with it. [Reply][Quote]
