Posted: 11 Mar 10 3:25 PM I can't set way points on my map unless I'm physically in that location. Is there anyway to scan around the map and set way points without going there first? Posted: 11 Mar 10 4:39 PM Tarlint: Currently you need to know the lat/lon to add a point from the phone. When you say Mark a waypoint it will default to your current location, but you can change the location to anything you want. From our website you can login with the same username and password that you use on your phone and you can select "Post a Trip" then use the map editor to place points on the map. From the phone you can then download this trip from Menu>My Trips>Menu>My Online Trips then use it as a "Guide Trip". Ideally would you want to be able to just long-press the map and select an option for "mark waypoint here"? If so, we can put that on the roadmap. If you have any other thoughts, please let me know. Yes! I would think that an option to mark a way point directly from the map instead of putting in the long. lat. would be very handy. Sign me up! You can also add the location item to your stats tab if You want. That's what I do. I'm not sure if lat/lon means much to most people. [Reply][Quote]
