kevin77 Posts: 1242	Re: How does it work????????? Posted: 17 Feb 10 6:07 PM The Trimble Outdoors phone application on Android phones does not integrate with Geocaching.com. Our Geocache Navigator application does that, unfortunately we are not able to sell that application on your phone. With the Trimble Outdoors phone application, you can do geocaching, but it is a manual process and not much different than using a standalone GPS receiver. It appears you have half of the process correct. You've created "trips" of individual POIs for each geocache here on the web. Next, you must download those "trips" to your phone. From the Main Menu, press your phone's menu button and choose "My Trips". Then press your phone's menu button again and choose "My Online Trips". Select any of your trips and it will be downloaded to your phone. Then, press your phone's menu button and choose "Use as Guide". Then choose the "Guide Trip" tab from the top (you may have to scroll the tabs to the left). Selects "Points" to expand that folder. Then press and hold on your geocache POI. A context menu will appear and you can select the "Go To" option. You should be brought directly to the "Navigate" tab with the distance and direction from your current position to that point. Posted: 08 Mar 10 5:04 PM Also: if you are a premium member at geocaching.com, you can take the GPX from a pocket query and upload it here: http://www.trimbleoutdoors.com/MyAccount/UploadTrip.aspx. This will take all the waypoints from your pocket query and import them into one trip that you can download from your phone. To download it to your phone select: Menu > My Trips > My Online Trips then select Menu > download on the trip. [Reply][Quote]
