Posted: 11 Mar 10 5:10 AM We are planning a trip this summer with a small group of Boy Scouts and I need to know where we might be able to park a couple cars near / in the Mammoth area for a week or so while we hike. Posted: 11 Mar 10 4:34 PM I've never done it, but from what I can tell, the best place to park overnight is the Mammoth Mountain ski resort, but you must have to get a special parking permit from the resort for overnight parking.
