jumpinwaves Posts: 2	Trip created w/ Tracks Posted: 28 Aug 09 4:13 PM I created a trip on the trimbleoutdoors website. The trip includes 7 POIs and 1 track. I downloaded the trip to my blackberry. I got the trip with the 7 POIs, but not the track. Any ideas why the track wasn't downloaded? Thanks! ~Tanja [Reply][Quote]
kevin77 Posts: 1237	Re: Trip created w/ Tracks Posted: 28 Aug 09 11:14 PM Long story. But the Trimble Outdoors phone application is very old and was never intended to work with tracks. It supports navigation by use of a route. A route typically consists of a few ordered way points for which the phone application has support for helping you automatically navigate to each way point. It sounds like if you go back and edit your trip, on the online map editor, in the Options pane, there are three "tabs". Trip Items, Thumbnails, and Options. Under Options, you'll find a check box for "Show legacy route toolbar button". Use that tool and place a way point at each of your seven POIs to create a route. Then upload the trip to your phone and the route will be uploaded. There is then an option in the phone application to "Navigate". We are working on including and using tracks when uploading in a new version of the phone application. We'll try and keep you updated as to its release. [Reply][Quote]
