Google Earth - Importing
Posted: 28 Aug 09 4:12 PM
Hey,
I can see from the webpage that you can download to Google Earth, but I was wondering if there is a way to upload a kml file from Google Earth? I used Earth to map a route and would like to upload it into a trip.

Thanks!

We've never gotten around to supporting all the various file formats because there are many other converters out there. A round about way to accomplish what you want is to upload your .kml file to www.gpsies.com/convert.do and choose to convert it to GPX. You'll then be able to create a trip on our site using that GPX file.
