• wirelessly download topographic, aerial and street maps to your phone (see the list of supported phones here)
• wirelessly insert notes into trip from your cell phone
• wirelessly insert pictures into trips from your cell phone (requires the use of a camera phone)

Trimble Outdoors Platinum includes a monthly allowance for 500KB of wireless data, enough for 4 trips including 5 maps and 5 low resolution photos per trip. At this time available for Nextel customers only.

Trimble Outdoors Platinum Unbundled will give you all the features and benefits of Trimble Outdoors Platinum, but it does not come with a wireless data allowance. It is intended for power users who will purchase a data plan directly that will match their data transmission needs. At this time available for Sprint, Nextel, Boost Mobile and SouthernLINC Wireless customers.
