8 day trip on the Benson Lake Loop trail in Yosemite, National Park.  Spend the first night at a campsite at Twin Lakes (Mono Village?).  Trails starts from Twin Lakes in Toiyabe National Forest.  Hike into Yosemite Park, then do a clockwise loop over two passes - Mule and Burro - and down into Matterhorn Canyon.  Head over Benson Pass and down to Benson Lake.  Stay there for a day then head back, hiking north over Seavey Pass and to Peeler Lake.  Last day retraces the first day hike back to Twin Lakes.

TO TRAILHEAD: Drive on Highway 108 over Sonora Pass and to Highway 395 to Bridgeport. Take Twin Lakes Road from Bridgeport to Twin Lakes campsites - preferably Mono Village.
