The trail starts between the 2 manhole covers across from the new Eagle County Ambulance District building on Swift Gulch rd.
Nottingham Gulch is used by motorcyclists as well so expect some ruts and loose dirt. There are four large climbs on this trail with nice traversing reliefs in between. The last pitch is a sustained 20% grade with rocks and roots that make it a challenge. It is rarely traveled so you stay away from the mainstream riders and get great Aspen stands and views of BC. Nottingham Gulch trail is only 3.6 miles long and climbs about 1750ft.
