Morgantown, WV. Dolly Sods Scenic Area, Blackbird Knob Trail. This 12 mile trip takes you through some of the most scenic mountain country in the East. The campsites are all next to rippling creeks with pine needles or grass on which to rest your tent. The trails are much smoother with less miles than on the Breathed Mt Loop trip. The Breathed Mt Trail has some rocks but after that the trails are easier. TO TRAILHEAD: RT33 E from Elkins. L on Rt32 in Harmon. 3.8mi to Bonner Mt Rd East. Follow Signs to FR19 & FR75 toward Red Creek Campground.
