Wife went to Italy with her Mom for a birthday trip so I took the kids to the Grand Canyon for a week. Awesome trip - we hiked down to Phantom Ranch and back out the next day. 11 yr old & 9 yr old made the 19 miles with surprisingly little trouble. Also did some flat water Colorado River rafting as well as star gazing. Kids are still talking about the trip 2 years later.
