This ride begins on the eastern edge of Salem, Oregon's State Capital and rides east on Sunnyview Rd through some scenic, slightly rolling, agricultural lands to Cascade Hwy where you take a left turn and ride to the beautiful Oregon Garden.  If you have time stop here for bite to eat at the snack shop and take a tour. (http://www.oregongarden.org)  Plan on several hours if you are stopping here and be sure to bring your camera!   From the Oregon Garden continue towards Silverton where you take Silverton Rd back towards Salem.
