Volcan Mountain is a lofty peak with fantastic 360 degree views from the summit. The mountain has a nice forest of oaks and pines and large manzanitas. We will hike up the Five Oaks Trail and continue on to the summit. The hike is about 5 or 6 miles roundtrip, and we will gain about 1300 ft in elevation, so, it will be moderately strenuous. The views will be spectacular.
