Explore a desert moonscape of otherworldly cacti on this 4.2-mile hike to an abandoned gold prospect. Take plenty of water and sunscreen. TO TRAILHEAD: I-10 E to CA 62; R @ Park Blvd. R @ Keys View Blvd., L @ sign to Lost Horse. Drive 1.1 mi. on dirt road to trailhead; park at toilets.
