Looking for 360 degree views and fun side trips? Take a hike on this lesser used trail traversing to the lower ridge at 8,200’ in the Sandia Mountain Wilderness. Visit www.geocaching.com first and be prepared for treasures, both physical and spiritual! Mileage: 5.5 UTM: 13S DATUM: WGS 84 RATING: Moderate TO TRAILHEAD: To reach the trailhead, travel north on Tramway Boulevard past the turnoff to the tram, and as the road begins to curve to the west, turn north on the paved FR 333. Take FR 333 for about 2 miles to a point where the pavement ends. Make sure to stop and pay the $3 parking fee here. Continue north on the dirt road to a parking area just before a gate marked with a sign as Private Road.
