I live nearby and ride the roads south of HWY 49 near Harrisburg often. I did this route as part of a solo 62 mile Saturday morning. I haven't made the actual Tuesday night ride this year because of work. I think I saw about 10-15 cars the whole time. Drivers are normally very courteous to cyclist here. There is one short stretch on a busy road, HWY 601, but there is a 3 foot paved shoulder to ride on, so it's not so bad. You will be out in the county on this ride and there are no stores in the area to reload the water bottles. I guess it is because the county is dry, as in no alcohol sales.
