1.5 Mile Resthouse

Stopped here to refill water and eat an apple. Lots of very "friendly" squirrels here. In a failed effort to "keep wild animals wild," I slapped one on the side of the head after he came right up to us and tried to steal an apple out MB's hand.

3 Mile Resthouse

This is as far down as we went. Unfortunately we got a late start on the day and we didn't think we would have enough time to make the last leg all down to Indian Gardens :(

Big Horn Sheep

MB spotted this guy standing majestically on a ridge while we were taking a water break on the way up.

MB spotted this guy posing up on a ridge. He ran away after a few minutes, and when we walked around the corner he was standing right in front of us on the trail. Very cool.
